Dr. Hawkins graduated from the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, a new specialty that fewer than 600 physicians throughout the U.S. have achieved. He has had the opportunity to work with many of the country’s leading physicians on the cutting edge of the newest and least invasive approaches to the treatment of joints, muscles, spine, nerves, and fascia dysfunction and pain syndromes.
His philosophy of health care is anchored by his “hands-on” Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy and utilization of unique technologies to restore function and reduce or eliminate pain without the chronic use of drugs or surgery. Dr. Hawkins takes a “whole person” approach to medicine. Instead of just treating specific symptoms or illnesses, he considers your body as an integrated whole. Dr. Hawkins completed an extensive fellowship training program in neuromusculoskeletal medicine at Downey Regional Medical Center.
He is uniquely trained as an osteopathic physician to be able to evaluate and treat your specific musculoskeletal complaint by using not just conventional treatments but by also using cutting-edge, state-of-the-art therapies and osteopathic manipulation treatments.
It is extremely rare to find a physician like Dr. Hawkins who has the skill set and can provide such a vast array of nonsurgical orthopedic treatments. He is truly unique.
