In the East, food is considered medicine. We seem to have mostly forgotten this. Diet is by far the single most important factor affecting our health on a daily basis by far, more than exercise, regarding our energy level, mood, weight and general health.
I agree with the majority of Paleo, Zone and Mediterranean diet tenets, but there are few significant differences. I will be posting topics on this blog on what I have learned and implemented in my own diet and recommend to my patients.
